Operation Shoebox – New Jersey – Support Our Troops

Lutheran Church Women

Hello Ladies,

On behalf of the entire volunteer staff of Operation Shoebox New Jersey and all U.S. military personnel deployed overseas, I want to thank you for the generous donation of $200 which will help to support our ongoing efforts to ship personal care packages to U.S. troops deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Beginning with its founding in February, 2005, OPSHBX NJ volunteers have continued to gather supplies and raise money, enough to send 32,000 care packages to U.S. military personnel in Iraq, Afghanistan and other Mideast locations.

Please have a look at our website, http://www.opshoeboxnj.org to read the latest thank you letters from grateful service personnel and to keep abreast of our packing events and volunteer opportunities.  We’d also ask that if you know of anyone who is deployed overseas to please send their address so that we may ship them care packages.

Operation Shoebox New Jersey will continue to maintain its supply line overseas as long as there is a need, and for as long as individuals, schools, business and corporations continue to support our efforts.  We extend our sincere thanks to you for helping to ensure our continued success.  We invite all of you, family and friends to participate in our activities in 2010.

Operation Shoebox New Jersey is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation as recognized by the IRS and is registered in the state of New Jersey as a n0n-profit, charitable corporation.

Respectfully,

Rod Hirsch
